Why Cheap Poker Chips Suck

High Quality | October 2, 2015 | Reviewer: CowDad from Columbia, SC | I went with Archetypes, but Proteges were my second choice. Order a sample and you'll see that the quality on these is a little better than Paulson. Now that Paulson has gone out of the home poker chip business, maybe Sidepot will expand their line of clay chips. Was this review helpful to you? |

Awesome chips! | June 28, 2010 | Reviewer: Erik Ridley from Allentown, PA United States | I've previously had the InPlay chips, which I really liked. After seeing samples of the new chips, though, I wanted to switch. I'm definitely glad I bought the Proteges, they are super sweet chips. Perfect weighting and I love the design. Thanks for another great product, Sidepot! Was this review helpful to you? |

Great Chips, but... | June 28, 2010 | Reviewer: J Dawson from Houston, TX United States | The chips look great and sound great. The only complaints would be that when we purchased the chips they were advertised to come 'pre-oiled' by the sellers themselves with 2-3 years wear look to them so the corners would not be sharp. However, what we received are sharp cornered chips that are impossible to shuffle or do chip tricks with. Hopefully in 2-3 years they will wear down on the edges and be as originally advertised. It also took 3 months to receive the chips that we were told would take 2 weeks to receive. We were also not informed that the hold up was due to 2 single high denomination chips not being in stock yet. That could have saved us a month had we been so informed. Protege Chips | June 28, 2010 | Reviewer: Richard Halverson from Ryton, Tyne and Wear United Kingdom | YUM YUM Despite waiting over 4 months with no information on my order unless I emailed a query, on arrival I was over the moon with both the look and feel of my 500 chip set. Well worth the $1000 i paid including shipping to UK. I do wish I had been kept informed voluntarily and I do think such a delay warranted some discount or freebees! Again great product - dont settle for cheap rubbish you will only regret! Was this review helpful to you? |
